PBI Desktop, making wrong stream on many to one relationship

I keep getting this error. I setup a many to one relationship, which in this case should be downstream. From many sending data over to one.

But the visual representation shows an upstream, which is strange.

And the data behaves like the relationship is upstream, which is strange.

The arrow indicates upstream??

The relationship is from assigned to jobs, many to one. But it's acting like a one to many relationship.

I'm thinking surely this is bad data quality right?

One more thing that I really hate.

If I were to make a one to many relationship, from jobs to assigned.

I would get the indication that it's made.

But if I take a look at the relationship, it says many to one lol

Hi @BakirBukvic

So your table “assigned” contains duplicate values, while table “job” is unique, and you're setting up a many-to-one filter from table “assigned” to table  “job”. In fact, the left graphic is filtering from table “job” to table “assigned” in one-to-many. Is that correct? What version of Desktop are you currently using?

@Anonymous

I think this is a visual bug.

The data is being sent correctly. It works like a many to one relationship on a visual scale.

Assigned:

Person 1    Job 1

Person 2    Job 1

Person 3    Job 2

Unique people, many jobs.

Assigned sends that data over to jobs, that has unique jobs, and other attributes.
