Hi
First time posting on the forum. So please bear with me if my post is placed on the wrong forum site.
Anyway have tried to solve an issue I have some time now, and I am not able to find the root cause.
This is the error i am receiving:
OLE DB or ODBC error: [DataSource.Error] OData: Request failed: The remote server returned an error: (500) Internal Server Error. (Persistence failure. ).
Not sure where the problem is originating from the OData source client where I am retrieving the tables from or PBI.
I am connecting to the data source through Data Warehouse OData v4 Endpoint URL.
When I load the raw tables into PBI and apply in query editor and the refresh in goes fine. but when I take one specific table and make an merger with another table, independent of the table I try to make an left join merger with, it gives me the error.
The funny thing is that the error 500 is showing up randomly. Sometimes I am able to refresh and sometimes not.
At one moment in time in the query editor mode, the table gave me the following error, and I was not even able to apply any changes:
DataSource.Error: OData: Request failed: The remote server returned an error: (500) Internal Server Error. (Persistence failure. )
Details:
DataSourceKind=OData
DataSourcePath=https://cppmbi3000.ondemand.ca.com/api/odata4/MUN553pDataSourceV4/DWH_TME_SHEET
looking up the URL it states:
{"error":{"code":"222206013","message":"Your session has timed out."}}
However this is not taken place any longer.
So I am getting really frustrated that I can’t locate the issue as the size of the file is no bigger than 140 MB and the number of rows from that particular table is no more than 300.000 rows.
Please let me know what steps to take so I am able to loacte the root cause - thanks in advance!
