New Usage Metrics Not Refreshing

A X person created this report &I have taken over this to handle further from that X. Have been getting below mentioned error when I tried to refresh. Could anyone help me on this please.

Hi @Anonymous ,

Please go to the Settings page of the report workspace by clicking on gear icon and clicking on Settings after then.

Find the Usage Metrics Report dataset. If it displays that this dataset is configured by others, you need Take over it and then Edit credentials in Data source credentials section to update the credential used to connect to data source. But you must ensure the credential used has sufficient permissions to retrieve data from data source.

Per the error info, it says “the user account is disabled”. May I know whether the user who create this dataset has resigned from your organization? Normally, this error indicates this user has been deleted from your organization so the original credential of that user won’t be able to retrieve data.

Yes, that person has resigned and left. This error occurs from that date onwards.

how can I retrieve it without that person. its not working after take over that too.
