New Button Slicer: Issue with the Grid type of Arrangement

Dear MS Power BI Team,

Since ± the beginning of October 2025, I have noticed an issue that the "Grid" type of Arrangement is broken on the service side:

Expected: in case of having 4 columns out of 6, an extra space on the right side left for 2 empty columns

Once published to the service side, the buttons stretch across the entire width, same way as behave "Horizontal" type of arrangement:

Can you please pay attention to this service side issue and fix?

regards,

Alena

For vertical List Slicer, this is a known issue ( manually set to value lower than 8, but still trying to show 8 ) and will be fixed next week.

I'm having a similar issue, but I have only 3 buttons vertical. In Power BI desktop it looks neatly aligned, in the Power BI service it looks like it tries to show 8 buttons. This results in overlapping text.

The issue exists for Grid Slicer too. I had to reduce number of rows and increase number of columns to fix it. I have a horizontal scroll now, which is not ideal.

Callout values inside the button visual now also are cut off and rearranged once published to service. Selected state hex code colors are also changed once published to service.

Am having the same issue - I'm using images inside my buttons and in desktop they are correctly proportioned in the New Button Slicer visual, however when published to service the buttons stretch out to fill the space which also increases the size of my images, making them all pixelated (because you can only set them as a percentage and not a fixed size but that's a separate issue...)
