Microsoft's Gantt chart - Visual not showing data, just a blank space or error message

I've been using MS gantt visual and recently getting an error in just some gantt visuals existing in reports added to an application. Error details shown as below:

Activity ID: 161ce233-b4b5-46b3-8192-63bee402d385
Request ID: e174d208-8256-585b-9484-360eda154399
Correlation ID: 3603e094-97b0-1f39-59b5-6874c291396d
Time: Wed Jan 11 2023 11:39:06 GMT+0800 (Singapore Standard Time)
Service version: 13.0.19679.80
Client version: 2212.2.11664-train
Cluster URI: https://wabi-us-east2-c-primary-redirect.analysis.windows.net/

The gantt in some reports appears ok, but on others show the above error or just a blank space.

They appear ok in the desktop app, and as a stand-alone report in the online version, but when embedded into an app, they show the above problem. I was able to fix it in online reports by re-adding the visual component, but I can't edir the report/pbix when embedded into an App.

Any support would be much appreciates, thanks.

Hi @Alan_at_work ,

I cannot reproduce this problem in my side.

Based on the above information, if you are a Power BI Pro licensee, you can create a support ticket for free and a dedicated Microsoft engineer will come to solve the problem for you.
It would be great if you continue to share in this issue to help others with similar problems after you know the root cause or solution.

Thank you! I managed to resolved by first downloading the visual component into my laptop and then importing it into the Report from the file. That fixed the issue. For some reason it wasn't picking it up from the online version.

Cheers

Alan
