Map visual not reflecting data

Dear support team,

I'm having troubles with Power BI's map visual. I load my Excel data in Power BI, choose the map visual, choose the Country field as Location, use a summable field for size, yet the visual stays the same; just a blank world map.

I feared that maybe it's my data that's acting up; so I tried the same with the sample data MS provides; to no avail. I also changed the Data category for the Country field from Uncategorized to Country; still nothing. In the support forum, a Super User exhausted all possible solutions before directing me here. It's worth mention that I shared the pbix file with her and she already confirmed that it's working fine at her end. Here's the link to that forum thread:

I'm using Power BI Version: 2.102.845.0 64-bit (February 2022)

Below are some screenshots of what I'm facing:

Hi @Anonymous

Based on the above information, if you are a Power BI Pro licensee, you can create a support ticket for free and a dedicated Microsoft engineer will come to solve the problem for you.

It would be great if you continue to share in this issue to help others with similar problems after you know the root cause or solution.

Hi @Anonymous

Thank you for your reply. I did as you kindly suggested, but unfortunately, it remains unchanged. In fact, I tried every possible option from the list to no avail.

It's worth mentioning that I tried other visuals and they work fine.

Hello @v-easonf-msft ,

I finally got around to asking my orgnization for a pro license and I've been assigned one.

I'm trying to follow the instructions you kindly provided for raising a support ticket. I follow the provided link, and each time I sign in in order to leverage my pro status and raise a support ticket, a new tab opens which takes me to My Workspace page, but in the original tab, it keeps telling me to sign-in.
