Make 'Hidden' pages stay hidden when exporting to PDF / PowerPoint

This doesn't seem to be a brand new issue, with similar results over a year old, but why do Hidden Pages become visible again after exporting from the Power BI service?  That seems to defeat the purpose of hiding them in the first place, the cleanliness of exporting specific slides and would cause multiple versions of the same data to be uploaded to ensure only necessary content is visible to the end user.

Can there be a fix made for this?

Thanks,

Ryan

Hi @Anonymous,

Currently, the user can choose whether to export hidden page or not to PDF/ PowerPoint. See: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/consumer/end-user-pdf#export-your-power-bi-report-to-pdf

To prevent the user from exporting hidden pages, you can vote these same ideas:

Hi,

I am having the exact same issue. 'Exclude Hidden Tabs' does not work.

Is there any news on a fix?

Thanks

Can i ask what the point of hidden pages is, if a user can export regardless? Makes the entire feature redundant.
