LocalDateTable - Failing Refresh

Is anyone else having or had a issue with PowerBI Desktop error "DirectQuery to AS - Platform & Business Service Insights

Failed to save modifications to the server. Error returned: 'Table 'LocalDateTable_60def435-cf12-4cbc-ab69-c1e56614b85f' with ShowAsVariationsOnly property set to '1' must be a target of a variation when variation notation is enabled. '."

Any help resolving this would be welcome

Simliar issue has been submited previously(ICM: 331555914), would update here as soon as possible if there is any progress about it.

Currently you can try that to check whether it works:

  1. Make a backup of your Power BI file
  2. Navigate to Options -> Data Load -> Untick "Auto Date/Time".
  3. Refresh all data
  4. Navigate to Options -> Data Load -> tick "Auto Date/Time".
  5. Refresh all data
