Issue with slicers on app.powerbi.com reports

I have an issue with the Timeline Slicer on the online reports. 

I use it across my dashboards, and it works perfectly on the Desktop version. But once my reports are uploaded and published as an app the functionality of the slicer is lost.

You can click on the slicer but you cannot change it from the 'default'. Makes the reports essentially very limited in usefulness.

This has been tested on all browsers (except Edge as I dont have that 'Windows 7') with cache all cleared. Cross-browser issue.

This is a known issue which has been recorded in Power BI support site, please keep an eye on the update time.
