Issue Global Search on Power BI Service List invalid/inexistent/deleted Reports/Objects

Morning All,

 

Over the last few weeks we are experiencing some issues when using the Global search on Power BI Service, once we search for a report or dataset using the global search it list some deleted and no longer available reports and once you click on them obviously the user is brought to an error message saying that the report is removed or they don't have access.

 

As per below

Initially I thought it was related to the issue below but it seems that it is slightly different

Please let me know if you need any other info or replication step. This issue is causing confusion among our users as they are constantly enquirying us that the report they are looking for are no longer available.

Hi @Anonymous ,

 

We've had similar feedback before, and the product team gave us feedback that it was down to a delay issue.
Please try again 15 minutes or more after deletion.
This is not a common problem and it is not reproducible in my case.

Thank you so much for getting back to me.

 

I guess they could be a little bit different issue as I don't think it is a delay issue because this report was deleted a couple of weeks ago and not "deleted" just now.

 

Another example is the one below as you can see all the top 3 reports listed were deleted a long time ago, and just by definition power bi does not allow you to mulitple reports with the same name. So for me power bi service still remenbering the deleted reports.

And on the second bracket only one report still available.

Would you have any feedback on this one?

 

As it is starting to be quite troublesome as we are getting constantly calls/tickets from our users saying that their reports aren't working just because the global search is suggesting deleted reports.

 

If it is a cache problem on our tenant is there anything that I can do to refresh it?
