Issue: Export to PDF mis-alignes Cards-Visuals

Hi,

after having nothing found to solve my problem in this and other forums, I want to leave this Issue here - any help or thoughts are much appreciated.

When exporting a ReportPage to PDF (via PBI Service) the Cards-Visuals that I placed somewhere do extremely differ in their location after the export 🤷‍♂️😑

Thanks a lot for any suggestions.

Best, Kevin

Hi,

Would you like to post a download link of the pbix file with this issue in the card visual without the sensitive data if it’s pssible and we can help you to check if it’s an existing issue in the Power BI?

I also suggest you to make sure you have updated to the latest version of the Power BI desktop.

Thank you very much!

Hi @v-robertq-msft ,

the pbix-file with only the Cards and some random numbers is <<here>>.

Thanks for looking into it.

Best Regards,

Kevin

Hi,

According to my research and test, I still think that this is a known limitation that is mentioned in the official document of Microsoft:

  • When exporting to PDF, we cannot guarantee pixel perfect fidelity for PBIX reports.

As a result, I don’t think this can be defined as an issue in the Power BI because more attention is focused on dynamic reports that can be interacted with.
