Inconsistent date format in refresh history of PowerBI service

Hi all,

I spotted this inconsistency in the Report Refresh history.

How can the format of the date column change from D/M/Y to M/D/Y in the view???

Can't say that this offers any comfort in the PowerBI service to handle regional dates in the data presented, when it's own coding can't get it right?

@Anonymous,

Based on your screenshot, the date are in M/D/yyyy format( from 1/11/2019 to 2/5/2019), do you want to change it to D/M/YYYY format? If so, you would need to set browser language and change Power BI Service language settings as described in  this similar thread.

Lydia

Hi there,

Thanks for the information.

I have checked the information at the post you provided, and the language settings are correct.

The date format is still inconstent, for example - the screenshot below shows the date slicers format being correct:

The refresh date in (text) is here:

The refresh history screen shows dates in MM/D/YYYY, regardless of the language settings of the PowerBI service.

There is only one "English" option in the PowerBI service language settings.

@Anonymous,

Please make sure you set language settings as Default(browser language) in Power BI Service. In addition, how do you set language in your browser?

I did all of that as per the instructions.

@Anonymous,

I test your scenario, but unable to reproduce your issue. After you change language settings in chrome, please re-launch Chrome.
