Hello, I am looking for help with this error message.  The map visual that I have stopped working and I don't know how to correct it.  I am fairly new to PowerBi.  Does anybody have any experience with the details of the error message and does anybody know how to fix it.

We see that you are not using the latest version of Power BI Desktop, please update to the latest version and retry.

Yes, I have a map and a custom visual. The custom visual is a text search that was added to the desktop.  The Map I am using is the Microsoft Azure visual.

I am requesting the latest version of the PowerBi, what is the latest version?

Based on the above information, this issue is complex which may need to collect log files for further troubleshooting. Since community support engineers don't have that access, I would suggest opening a Support Ticket. If you are a Power BI Pro or Fabric licensee, you can create a support ticket for free and a dedicated Microsoft engineer will come to solve the problem for you. 
It would be great if you continue to share in this issue to help others with similar problems after you know the root cause or solution.
