Gateway installation on virtual machine Error

 

Please Help with the below request.

 

I'm trying to install the Power BI Data Gateway on a virtual machine. But we have encountered the below error. please help us out how to proceed further?

Hi @powerbiharsha,

 

Please check if the machine meets the requirements listed here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/data-integration/gateway/service-gateway-install#requirements

 

After you install the required .Net version, please ensure you have restarted computer then run the gateway installer. 

 

If the issue still occurs, please share gateway installer log ( default location C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\Microsoft\On-premises data gateway) if possible.

We have met the system requirements and also we have restarted the system post .net framework installed even though we are facing the same error. 

 

Please find the below error code and help us to resolve it as soon as possible.
