Formula Bar and New Measure Not Working in Direct Query

In PBIDesktop new version when I try to create a new measure (example. Number of People = 2)  and in the report is connected with Direct Query to a model, now It is not possible to do it. 

I try to create the measure but formula bar now is invisible!! I can not even create a measure Measure 

This possiblity has been always working and now it is not ¿?

 

When I open the report with August version it works and when I open it with the latest version it does not

 

Can you help me?

I've tested at my side but I can't repro it.

If you create a new pbix file, will you get the same issue?

If this issue keep existed, will reinstallation help you make it work properly?

Hello Community Support Team _Caiyun,

 
Version 2.97.921.0 64-bit (sep2021) works fine but later versions such as 2.98.1025.0  (oct2021) and  2.99.621.0 64-bit (nov2021) have this BUG.
 
We have check it with different computers, installations and reinstallaions, also with new from scratch or old .pbix reports with same results.
 
Reinstalation does not solve the BUG.
 
Refreshing does not solve the problem.
 
None of the suggested workarounds appear to work for this connection.
 
SQL Server 2014 Direct Query with Power BI Desktop do not allow to create or edit any measures in the report, as formular bar is not available. It is imposible to write any DAX in the formula bar and/or it is invisible.
 
When click on "New Measure" the formula bar is not visible and when visible after clicking on 'name' it is not possible to write/edit anything down.
