Fix Display size recognition

I think it might be since October update but I'm not sure, if I attempt to drag PowerBI to top of the screen on an external monitor so that it'll maximize, it will actually extend the right side of the window beyond the visible monitor space. If I perform the same action on my laptop's primary monitor it fills the window correctly.

Both screens have the same resolution (1920 x 1080).  The screen without the issue is at 125% scaling and the screen with the issue is at 100% scaling.

When a coworker with different hardware tries to use the snap function to maximize PowerBI desktop on an external monitor it only expands to the size of the laptop monitor.

The admin center doesn't seem to have a 'bucket' to report issues with the Desktop app.

I see. It's a display issue of Power BI Desktop with multiple screens. Currently, the screen adaptability of Power BI in this scenario does need improvement. There is a newly release version of Power BI Desktop. Could you please try it to see whether there is any improvement?

Hi @jnickell

You mean you are using dual screens and Desktop can't be maximized on the secondary screen?

For my coworker yes.  For me it's "over maximized"  See the attached images.  First is if I click the "maximize" button (and it works properly)

Second is if I try to "snap" for maximize.  One additional point that I just found is that this error only seems to happen if I start with the PowerBi window "un maximized" on the primary monitor and drag it directly to "snap to full screen" on the external monitor.  It seems less likely to exhibit this error if once I've gone through a max/unmax cycle on the external monitor."correct behavior""correct behavior"

correct behavior above and incorrect behavior below

"error behavior""error behavior"
