Filter not visible in PowerBI embedded Dashboard

I tried the java script sample from github inwhich i tried to embed the dashboad into webpage but the problem is i coudent able to see the filter option when embeding into dashboard where as i could see the filter option while coming to embeding reports,is there any way to see the filter in embeding dashboard. i have attached the screen shots of the problem

Hi @sai2,

 

There is a property called filterPaneEnabled, if it is set to false then you won't be able to see the filter in embedded iframe.

Hi @daveParso,

 

I am sorry i just noticed that you are talking about showing filter pane in dashboard rather than report.

Filter pane never shows up in dashboard buddy, it is always seen when you embed a Power BI report.

The property which i mentioned can be used to hide/show filter pane in the reports.

@prateekraina If you look at the images you can see that its not the filter pane we are talking about (pane that shows on the right of a report) but an actual filter object placed inside of the report for end users to be able to easily filter. For whatever reason though when looking at the embedded report this object does not show up correctly.

My bad.

I am also able to repro this issue.

 

Rest assured, @v-haibl-msft will soon create a ticket with dev team as soon as they repro it at their end.
