Failed to save modifications to server

Hi all,

When trying to create a new query from a column in another query and then delete duplicates.When i try to  close and apply the query editor, i get the following error:

Failed to save modifications to the server. Error returned: 'OLE DB or ODBC error: [Expression.Error] The 'count' argument is out of range.. '.

Anyone have any idea why this is the case?

Thanks,

Ikenna

@iokoli

Could you please check the video below to see if it is the same scenario as you? It seems that I cannot repro the same issue here.

@v-haibl-msft it is a similiar scenario but the only difference is that i am creating a new query from a custom column.

Do you think that may be the reason why?

Thanks,

Ikenna

@iokoli, I faced the same problem when changed data of the base table.

I had new table "date_1" created from base table "date" that came from MySQL Query. When I changed a column in base table, this error occured.

If it's OK for you just to delete the second table, this error disappears)
