Error with Measures in June Update

I've upgraded to the latest version of PBI (Version: 2.47.4766.801 64-bit (June 2017)), and something seems to have happened to underlying AS data store (since the size has become smaller as well).

Most of my measures are erroring out eith the message that the connection is not open.

The error (http://nb-databackup.s3.amazonaws.com/shwetank_tmp/pbi_error/error.txt) is an analysis services not open connection, but I'm not sure what that means.

I am able to connect using Dax editor, but this error keeps coming up in PBI.

Any ideas?

Previous .pbix files take significantly less space after saved in the latest version(2.47.4766.801) of Power BI Desktop. This is expected. New compression was added to the model data when we save it in PBIX file.

About error of "The connection is not open", I cannot repro the same issue on my side. Could you please check that you can connect to you SSAS with SSMS in the same machine where PBI Desktop is installed? If the connection to SSAS is OK and the measure issue persists, I suggest you to create a support ticket at http://support.powerbi.com (see bottom of page).
If issue is resolved, you can share the solution here later to help others who have the same problem.
