Error using the Pane Switcher

Hi all,

 

For info, just tried selecting a slicer to set syncing when I got the error message:

"Something went wrong
An error occurred while rendering the report"

 

This was with the preview feature of Pane Switcher enabled.

 

Was working ok on a different laptop.  Running the October 2023 release of PBI Desktop.

Thought I'd mention

Hi @JamesBroderick 

So it is normally in version October 2023 , right ? What version of Desktop is the one with the problem ? If you also upgraded to the October version, would that solve the problem of reporting errors.

Hi @Anonymous ,

 

Thanks for replying both versions are October 2023.  Incidentally I deselected/reselected the panels from the View Ribbon Pane Switcher section and it cleared the issue but the same issue did reoccurred the next time I opened the report.
