Desktop Refresh Succeeds but Service Fails

Hi guys,

Really struggling with a PBI file that is failling to refresh on Service.  It takes 14-18 minutes to refresh successfully in Desktop but when published on Service, it took 4 hours and then failed.  It's really hard to find an error that you can't reproduce in desktop, and also frustrating that the performance is so inconsistent between the two options. 

The file is linked to sharepoint Excel and CSV files as well as an OData connection for Project Online. 

I'd appreciate if you could provide any advice on how this can be resolved.

Hi @KCinMelbourne,

Please pick a time that there is no many dataset are refreshed, then manually refresh the dataset via Refresh Now button, check if the issue same occurs.

Hi @v-qiuyu-msft,

This error self resolved when I addressed a Formula.Firewall error.  I am still working on that issue which is open in a separate 'Issue' if you could please close this one.
