Date Slicer Formatting Bug

As I described in this StackOverflow question, I'm having issues with my date slicer reformatting my date upon opening my .pbix file (ditto for loading it on powerbi.com). The format shown in the box should match the format I've chosen for that column, not whatever format it thinks I want.

 

 

If I click on one of the boxes after opening the file it's fine. Sometimes doing that and then resaving the file fixes it temporarily, but I can't seem to resolve it consistently.

I am having the same issue. The date format is messed up in the Dropdown slicer. The dates are displayed correctly for dates (Jan 01 - April 11) but are messed up for dates(April 11 - Dec 31) powerbi issue 1.pngpowerbi issue 2.png

 

 Please let us know when there is a fix to this issue.
