Date Display Format in Date slicer

Hi,

I am having trouble with the format of the date displayed in the Date slicer of power BI.

The dates in my data are in UK format but the date slicer is displaying them in US fromat.

Please go to system control pane to change the region format to UK. Then close and reopen the PBIX file to see the result.

Thanks for this. I was able to change the format in the desktop version, but the published version is still showing the US fromat.

I can repro the same issue as you. I’ve reported it internally to Power BI Team: CRI 41498435
I’ll post here once I get any update about it.

This is being tracked by a bug internally. But for now that is by design.

If you want to use the minimal UK date formats, you can set your browser to UK locale as following screenshot.

We're having this same issue.  We have hundreds of clients all in Australia using the reports, and I don't want to have to ask them to update their browser settings.  Is there any way we can force the visualization to display in the format we have specified?  I set the format of the date for the slicer to "d/MM/yyyy", but it still displays in American format for most of our users.

This problem is present in Power BI Service. Any fixes in view?
