Dataset Not Refreshing - Unable to connect to the data source undefined

I have Installed on premises Gateway (personal) and in Datasets>Gateway Connections this is showing as "Running".

When I try to run the refresh I get the error:

Unable to connect to the data source undefined

Cluster URI: WABI-NORTH-EUROPE-C-PRIMARY-redirect.analysis.windows.net
Activity ID: e9d90566-a8ac-4912-a0cb-e8aa82269435

Have tried looking at similar issues in regards to Privacy levels but still had no luck.

To make it more clear, I need confirm several question with you.

• What is your data source?
• What kind of authentication method are you using to connect to this data source?
• Is your gateway installed on the same machine with your data source?
• What kind of connection mode did you use to create report? Import connection?
• Have you ever Edit credentials for your data source?

Hi Cazheng

• I have two data sources (1) SQL Query, 2) MS Excel Spreadsheet.  Now I beleive that the issue is lying with the Excel source.
• If im not mistaken im using Windows Authentication to connect to the source.
• The Gateway is on a virtual machine and the Excel spreadsheet is in Onedrive
• I built the report in PBI Desktop and imported data from Onedrive Excel spreadsheet
• I set credentials when started which showed as correct when tested.

With further investigation I managed to part solve the issue (to some extent).  I removed the SQL part of my dataset and everything refresed as expected.  I then tried it the other way round by excluding the Excel part of my dataset and again everything refreshed fine.

Seems that If you are trying to refresh more than one source of data thats when the problem starts to occur.
