Data incomplete in Power BI

Hello!

We are using Postgre for data storing and connecting to Power BI by Direct Query. We have made several dashboards and loaded them to the server. Everything was working fine.
But receintly accidentally we incountered the issue: not all data are loaded from data warehouse. During refresh, no errors and other suspicious messages were appeared. We've tried everything, clearing credentials permissions for all sources and authenticating them again, clearing cache, republishing reports, using other users and yet, same issue. Data don't refresh after specific date (16th of July).

Hi  @Timo_0n

You mentioned that not all data are loaded from data warehouse . Has this happened recently or has it always happened before? Have you compared it and is there anything unusual about the missing data?

During the mid-July phase, customers with Fabric tenants located in the central U.S. may experience issues when interacting with the service. But for now this issue is fixed. If you are located in the central part of the United States, you may have problems . Based on this situation, could you reload the data to Postgre and then try to reflash your reports to see if this previous situation exists.

@v-yetao1-msft we have several databases from same source loaded in our BI. And all of them have missing data from 17th of July. This didn't happen before, everything was working fine. Thing is though, in Power BI desktop during creating new dashboard it still don't load complete data.

We are located in different region, in Georgia (not state). I don't know if this is location issue.

@v-yetao1-msft

so I think we found out issue.
Before that let me explain how we were connecting BI to database.
For security reasons we have 2 IP adresses, external and internal. Because internal IP don't allow for external users see data in our source, we were using External IP. It means, you can connect Internal IP to Power BI desktop, but upload it to the server with internal credentials and refresh it, it won't work.
Because of that, we were using external IP adress for BI desktop server and then uploading it to the server.

So we tried again but with internal IP's credentials and that worked. So the problem was on Devops side, and it resolved.
Thanks for attention!
