I have a data model that uses a custom number format string to show data in millions of Euros (€ #,0,,.00"M";-€ #,0,,.00"M";€ #,0,,.00"M") and it works very well.
After each monthly update of the Power BI Desktop app any fields using this format string start showing (\€ \#\,\0\,\,.\0\0"M"\;-\€ \#\,\0\,\,.\0\0"M"\;\€ \#\,\0\,\,.\0\0"M") instead which isn't a valid format and doesn't show any values. I must edit each field and reset the custom format string to see the values in my reports.
Once I reset the format string and save the file, it's okay until the next monthly update is applied and the string breaks again. Not sure what is causing this, but it is becoming increasingly annoying to have to fix lots of these each month.
Hope this is a quick fix and can be resolved.
