Currency in Dataflow

Hi all,

i have a problem with a currency column in my dataflow. 

When i open the dataflow entity editor, when my column is automitically set as currency or i set it as manually,

I save it but in my entity those columns are recognize as Decimal... 

Any ideas

Hi @anbarb, 

I got information that this is by design. See https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/service-dataflows-create-use, section "consideration and limitations" - dataflows do not support M language's (aka Power Query) currency datatype. That's we translate it to decimal. The user should cast it to a supported type (in M).
