Cosmos DB connector V2 preview not working in Brazil, lacking Simba driver installation.

Hi,

 

We have an use case that import cosmos DB content into PBI Dataflow is a life saving solution...

We were very happy to see a preview for the Cosmos DB V2 connector, but it seens that our instance doesn't have the neccessary driver.

 

"An exception occurred: Property 'Driver' with value '{Simba DocumentDB ODBC Driver}' does not match an installed ODBC driver.: (Session ID: 75023e80-04df-4a50-b8fd-ad9a2ee13dc2, Region: brazil)"

Please check if you have meet the needs below:

  •  BI Connector requires 64-bit Windows OS. Please install it on a 64-bit Windows OS machine.

  • Make sure to configure BI Connector using 64-bit ODBC Data Source Administrator.

  • If you are working in Power BI Desktop, verify if the 64-bit edition of the software is used.
