Connection between Azure Databricks workspace and Microsoft Power BI on Remote Server ( Jump Box)

Both (Azure Databricks workspace & Microsoft Power)  resided on  Jump box server (Remote Environment) Azure Databricks connector is not visible their, the connection is possible through Third Party tool but not directly with the built in connector, any idea why is this happening ?

Due to confidentiality, screen shot can not be shared. 

But main idea is that how to enable built in databricks connector in Remote desktop environment ( RDS ).
Or one can say that  troubleshoot databricks connector in Remote desktop environment ( RDS )

First, ensure that you have the necessary prerequisites:

1.An Azure Databricks cluster or Databricks SQL warehouse.
2.Power BI Desktop installed on your RDS.
3.Proper network configurations to allow communication between Power BI and Azure Databricks.


Second,to connect Power BI Desktop to Azure Databricks, follow these steps:

Open Power BI Desktop and click on Get Data.
Search for Azure Databricks and select the connector.
Enter the Server Hostname and HTTP Path. You can find these details in the Azure Databricks workspace under the Compute section.
Choose your Data Connectivity mode (Import or DirectQuery).
Enter your authentication credentials. You can use a Personal Access Token (PAT) or Azure Active Directory (AAD) credentials.
Click Connect and select the Azure Databricks data to query from the Power BI Navigator.


For troubleshooting tips:

1.Ensure that the Azure Databricks connector is properly installed and visible in Power BI Desktop. If it's missing, check the installation directory and logs for any errors related to connector validation.
2.Verify that the network configurations and firewall settings allow communication between Power BI and Azure Databricks. Sometimes, network restrictions can cause connection issues.
3.Check for any certificate issues. If the certificate chain is incomplete, you might need to install intermediate certificates manually.If you encounter data type mismatch errors, ensure that the data types in your queries are compatible. For example, comparing a Boolean value with an integer can cause issues.
