Conditional Formatting permanently broke the graph

Hi there,

So I enabled conditional formatting on the gridlines, and then I enabled conditional formatting on the bars of a graph, and that's when it broke, saying it "can't display the visual", and I now can't turn off formatting, since it says there's something wrong with the visual.

This is what it says when I click See Details on the visual itself:

Couldn't load the data for this visual

Couldn't retrieve the data for this visual. Please try again later.

Please try again later or contact support. If you contact support, please provide these details.

Deleting the visual was the only way, removing the data from it didn't work.

Hi @Anonymous ,

Does this problem occur in Power BI Desktop or Power BI Service?
We seem to have users with similar experiences to yours on Service, and an internal icm has been submitted to fix this issue.
If this is happening in Power BI Desktop, please provide your version information.

Hi there, it's using Power BI Service.  Glad to know it's not just me 🙂
