Card visual broken on powerbi.com?

As of today (30-Aug-2018) the built-in Card visual is no longer showing values for me on powerbi.com. I've tried all different kinds of measures (text, date, number) but the card always stays empty. This can even be experienced in the built-in examples that can be pulled into any workspace. For instance, the "Opportunity Analysis Sample" now contains a dashbard with multiple empty tiles - coming from pinned card visuals.

I am still having this issue. My dashboards are very temperamental and behaves differently for different users. Sometimes the card visual will show value, something they will be completely blank.

Can someone please guide me how to fix them?
