Cannot Copy Visual into Google Slides - Visual populates as blank

To the PBI Community,

our organization utilizes Google apps for most of our every day work with some exceptions for data professionals who will have Excel and Power BI available. After having built out our PBI reporting for my department I'm finding that while exhibits copy/paste well between PBI and Gmail, and PBI and Googe Docs, whenever I paste into Google Slides, only the footer of the exhibit is visible, but the exhibit is not included. So now we are relegated to having to take screenshots - not the state of the art experience I was hoping for.

Power Bi visual pastes into Google Slides as blank

Is this a known issue? Is there a patch coming for this?

I used the web version of Google Slides to test, and I can copy the content on the PPT to Google Slides normally. Please refer to the screenshot below.

from your video it appears that you are copying a Power BI visual from PowerPoint to Google Slides. 

I'm describing an issue trying to copy a Power BI visual from Power BI (desktop and PBI service) to Google Slides.

This is not an issue with PowerBI, if you can paste it into docs but not slides, the issue is with slides. I see that google slides seems to be pasting it as a link instead of as an image, but this is not controlled by powerBI. Suggested workaround: paste in a google doc first and then paste in slides .
