Bug: Calculation Group stopped working for a subset of data - Matrix Visual

Both Matrix visuals are created off of the same base table, hence teh data format is same on them

They use the same filters and same calculation group to display values. They are in two different visuals for readability reasons. I am getting the error shown below for one table while the other one works!

Cannot convert value '' of type Text to type Numeric/Date.

Please further check if your data is numeric or text type and try again.

If necessary, can you share with me some screenshots of your data after hiding sensitive information?

Thank you for responding. the data type is numeric for the values column used in matrix:

On some locations - both tables show error

The issue asrises when Location filter value is changed:

while on other locations, only 1 table shows error:

Location all - all calculations show up just fine

Here are the columns used for creating the matrix:

I was able to resolve the issue when i removed the "Currency Formatting" from this measure but was unable to undersatnd why there was an error. Also if I can't apply formatting here then where should i be doing it as Time Intelligence Calculaion group is being used for multiple table with different formatting requirements?
