Bookmarks with option - No Data not working in power BI service

Hi,

Since last 2 days wierd issue has started which used to work wel before. I have few report pages with bookmark , where When Data option is not checked in bookmark, it has started behaving differently in power BI desktop vs. power BI service. In power BI desktop,it retains the filter value betwen thebookmarks, where in power BI service, its not retaining filter values within visuals. 

Steps to reproduce - 

Create two table , one summary (table 1) and other detail (table 2)

Create bookmark 1 to show table 1 & hide table 2 & wise a versa. Make sure to Data option is unchecked.

Select a value in table 1 -> Select bookmark 2 (Hide table 1 & show table 2) -> You will see data is filtered 

Publish the report and check same feature in power BI service. Values will not be filtered.

I got information below: 

The new behavior is to clear any selections the visual is applying when it is hidden. The fix has made it to Production, but missed the September release of PBI Desktop, resulting in the inconsistency. The fix will be part of the October release.

Just to clarify, From october , the data option will not retain filters ? This was really good feature , why the sudden change in behavior ?

Hi @saileekumawat88,

There is a CRI: 79398667 report the issue that highlighting disappears when navigating bookmarks but data remains filtered, the PG team decide to fix this issue. 

Based on my test, the issue is already fixed in Power BI desktop 2.63.3272.40461 64-bit (October 2018), please update your desktop and test again.
