BUG - Map with German Landkreis not working properly

I used a filled map to allow the user to see what selected when filtering the data. The user needs to see Landkreise (Counties) on the map.

As in picture attached the darker portion of territory are darker because the system cannot identify correctly their geolocalization therefore double or triple.

This happens when cities known as "Kreisfrei stadt" (city county free) and their surroundings are shown under the same County (eg. Leipzig, Kreisfreie Stadt and Leipzig Landkreis).

There is as well a spot left over in the middle of the map, the city of Nürnberg which is currently impossible to be found. It has worked until 2 weeks ago.

Hi  @DavidPorTodos ,

Please ensure that the data type of the column containing the German Landkreis names is set to "Text" in Power BI. This can be done by selecting the column in the "Fields" pane, clicking on the "Modeling" tab in the ribbon, and selecting "Text" from the "Data Type" dropdown menu.

You may also need to check if the names of the German Landkreis in the filled Map match the names in the data source. If there are any discrepancies, you may need to manually update the names in the data source to match the names in the filled Map.

Hi, the data type is correct and I was able to find all Landkreise (Counties) by looking in Bingmap for the current name. Issue is that the map used to work "properly" but from time to time the Landkreise name are modified on Bingmap therefore no longer recognized by Power BI.

The issue of darker spots due to counties false geolocalized on the map persists, there is unfortunately no way to overcome it.
