I have Free PBI Desktop v2.100.1182 (64 bit free version Dec 2021) on Windows 10.
Summary: When changing background color of a column to white, alternate row shading is lost.
I clicked a field in a matrix. Then clicked the formatting button. Then I changed the background color of the field to yellow. I don't recall the exact buttons I pushed. I realized I had changed the background color on the wrong field so I went to change the background color to white. But that turned off alternate row shading. Screenshot:
See the 2nd column "EstHours". Since the background color is white the alternate row shading is gone. I'd like to keep the alternate row shading.
PBI does not seem to have an option of "no background color" to remove background colors of a column in a matrix but retain alternate row shading. Can you add that?
Can someone check this in the current version of PBI?
I have a PBIX file if you would like it.
