We currently have an embedded report that uses the Power BI Bing Maps visual. We have heard this visual will be deprecated at some point after the Azure Maps visual becomes GA. The Azure Maps visual is now GA (https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/azure-maps-blog/azure-maps-visual-for-power-bi-is-now-ga/ba-p... but it doesn't support embedded reports yet according to @cschotte (https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/azure-maps-blog/azure-maps-visual-for-power-bi-is-now-ga/bc-p...
Is there a gurantee that the Bing Maps visual will be available until Azure Maps supports embedded reports? How should we manage continuity of service if Bing Maps is removed before Azure Maps works in embedded reports?

Hi @benv
As Clemens Schotte mentioned , customer can continue using the Bing Maps visual for now. Once Azure Maps becomes compatible with Power BI embedded, customer can then upgrade their reports to leverage its features.
Regarding when Azure Maps can support embed, you can follow this limitation below. Once the restriction is lifted, it will be updated inside the documentation.
