Attempting to connect a folder datasource through a gateway connection fails with trailing slash

Any attempt to add an entity to a dataflow using a folder connection to our gateway fails if the folder URL has a trailing slash.

Fails:  \\server\folder\subfolder\

Works: \\server\folder\subfolder

If you accidentally try to create the connection using \\server\folder\subfolder\ you will never be able to create it, even if you subsequently remove the trailing slash and even if you close out the dataflow and try again. You need to delete it and start over. Quite the poison pill.

hi  @Anonymous

To my knowledge, in power bi, the correct format for using a folder is \\server\folder\subfolder.

do not add a trailing slash in it.
