An error occurred while rendering the report - Nov 2023 Power BI Desktop (Store version)

After updating to the Nov 2023 version of Power BI Desktop from the Windows Store, I receive the below error message when opening a new blank file, even with all preview features disabled. I have tried reinstalling the app. I do not receive this error when using the installer version of Power BI Desktop.

The exact same thing is happening to me. I received the same documentation as what you posted. I have a huge project due tomorrow. According to this documentation, it's from the new update, so even if I uninstall and reinstall, it will come down with the new update. 😞

The difference between the two is that the Microsoft Store gets Power BI Desktop updates, and the Microsoft Store ensures that only the components that change in each update are downloaded to your computer, thus reducing the amount of downloads for each update. There may be some components that are not updated successfully during the update process, causing problems when using it.
Download the update for the installer that is fully updated. Reinstalling the previous version after completely uninstalling it will ensure the integrity of the files.
