Alignment & Scaling issue in Power BI service

Report size / scaling and alignment is broken on some of my reports built in desktop and published to the service. This report has a custom theme and png background. Everything was fine when originally built and published for roll out a couple weeks ago. Now, this:

Using full screen mode in the PBI service make the report usable but the issue still resides. Please advise on this.

Did you set your background image fit to Normal? I had the same issue. Setting the fit to Fit ensured the report renders the same way in Power BI Desktop and Power BI service -- I had to adjust the placement of visuals though.

I will try this tomorrow when I have access to the pbix. It's strange that this was not an issue for weeks when originally deployed but is now...
