Add Download link - Paginated Report in Service when "Could not connect to the data source."
Assumption:
a) Build a dataset and using it build a successful paginated report with parameters and make sure it runs.
b) Publish the paginaged report to the service and make sure it runs. All looking great!
c) You have download the .rdl file permissions and you can download .rdl
Before running the report i.e., before submitting the parameters:
After running the report,
All good!
Error: Scenario: Paginated Report in Service when "Could not connect to the data source."
Steps To reproduce
1. Using the same above report dataset, change the data table name or something else, which makes the report will not work
2. You will see this error.
3. We are aware that it has to be fixed. But you need to downlad. Now at this stage we cannot download the .rdl
Consider and provide the option!
Thanks
Can you add the download link or somehow to download the link ...

Hi,
If you have an idea to help to improve the PowerBI, you can go to the Power BI Idea to submit a new idea so that people with the same idea can vote for you. I will also vote for you.
If you still have a problem and want to get a feedback for this kind of downloading idea as soon as possilbe, I suggest you to open a support ticket to get the opinions from the technical support team of Microsoft.
