I created a visual query with a merge and a group by. The "View SQL" button only shows the initial query, doesn't show the query with the final result.
As a consequence, this also prevents the download of the result to Excel:
After some tests, I discovered part of the problem is because I created multiple aggregations on the Group by option. After removing them, leaving only one, the "Download Excel file" worked, the query was translated to SQL. However, the "View SQL" on the visual query still doesn't work, showing only the initial query.
Can you provide detailed version information so we can reproduce the issue? We'll get back to the product team as soon as it's acknowledged as an issue! Thanks in advance!
I haven't received any feedback from other users with similar experiences to yours, and yes, I'm referring to the version of Power BI Service, which you can check out in the About section!
