Hi, I'm using a lakehouse in Microsoft Fabric. This lakehouse was created many weeks (1 months?) ago and I'm returning to it for more tests and experiences. One of the changes I noticed is an excessive refresh in the SQL Endpoint. The refresh is so excessive that it becomes very difficult to use a SQL Script. While I'm in the middle of typing something, the page refreshes and change the focus from the script I'm typing to one of the tables, making the preview of the table. This happens in short intervals of some seconds, making almost impossible to use the SQL Endpoint correctly. Kind Regards, Dennes

Hello, Is just me that I have the feeling that using Dataverse connector became a more and more hard to use? Issue1: Forcing autorename columns to Dataverse Display names - good idea but the worse implementation ever. Why?... because what Microsoft did break all the logic of Power Query where I should see ALL the transformations. Instead Microsoft choose to force changing columns to Dataverse display names, and if I have to rename one I shoud rename it in the "model section" not in Power Query, so this way loosing any posibility to keep track of the original name of the column. So in Power Query I see one thing, but in data model something else... and this is NOT funny. Original idea that still need votes, posted by @Benjamin Bootz: Make the new dataverse "Display Names" feature an opt-in feature instead of forcing it over Issue2: Cannot transform data without manually edit the query. Well couple of days ago I had to open an support ticket because I cannot get data from a simple Dataverse table like Account, Opportunity or Systemuser because of an error: "Preview.Error: The type of the current preview value is too complex to display." Usually, for the well known tables I don't wait for preview to finnish and go directly to "Transform data", but here is the same error. Finally the Support Technician came with a workaround, to manually edit the query, adding an option that would exlude the "relationship columns": Source = CommonDataService.Database("msdefault.crm.dynamics.com", [CreateNavigationProperties=false]) For me, because I was using Power Query enough, is ok, but I think it would be way more easier if the Dataverse connector would have an option like the SQL Sever to let the user choose to include or not these "relationship columns". In the below steps, we mention the whole process to convert OLM to CSV file on Mac by Manual Method: Firstly, you have to import Outlook for Mac Outlook by use of the Import/Export Option. Hi, Have started experiencing an issue today, loading the SQL Endpoint view in Fabric. I am still able to consume the data in Power BI, and also through SSMS using the SQL Endpoint, but get the below error when using the Web Interface. I need to update the relationships in the model, and believe this can only be achieved through the SQL endpoint interface in the Lakehouse. Any help appreciated. We have a central dataset and we would like to build a composite model where only a subset of the data from this dataset is used. We want some of our users to be able to build on this composite model, but not on the central dataset. We use Pro workspaces for this set-up. According to the blog posted below, this should be possible by assigning 'read' permissions to the central dataset and 'read + build' permissions to the composite model. However, when a user with these permissions tries to build a report in PBI Desktop or Service, they receive an error like 'no permission to central dataset'. If I copy and paste tables from a report to another (the datasource is BigQuery), after the loading, the table keeps stucked in the top left corner of the Model View. I cannot move the table, and gets worse if I try to load two tables or more: they keep overlaying each other. I can delete the tables at least. However, the same issue happens when I try to get the same data from scratch: get data > BigQuery > paste the query > rename the columns > apply and load, the same issue happens.

After downloading the July-2023 updated version of PowerBI desktop, we are now getting this error message in our datasets that query existing PowerBI datasets. "Sequence contains more than one matching element" It seems as if there is now some conflict between the Analysis Server Databases and OneLake and it thinks there are multiple datasets with the same name in this workspace but there isn't. Hi, Since a couple of days (I believe, since the last update) there seems to be an issue with a dataset refresh. Until then, it was working properly, so we assume there was some change on PBI Service side. On Desktop everything works as expected. @Anonymous Thank you

Unable to Bring SSAS multi dimensional data into Fabrics OneLake We are having our processed data in multidimensional cubes in SSAS environment. When tyring to bring this data into Fabrics, it is throwing the error attached herewith. Even, we tried different approaches, but didn't work. When I click on Manage Aggregations on my agg table nothing happens. For my model I have a details table as a direct query that uses M parameters, then two supporting tables as dual, and a aggregation table as import. My data source is SQL Server and all of my tables use native queries. I have tried many things such as updating Power BI Desktop, deleting and recreating my tables, using power query to create the aggregation table, but nothing is working. No matter what I do, when I click on Manage Aggregations, nothing happens. I am not sure what is wrong.

In Power BI, have two tables: one for UsersData and one for CountryData. The Username and Country columns can be identified in the UsersData table and the Country and CityName columns are in the CountryData table. The CountryData and UsersData tables are connected by using Country. Visualize the Country name and city in a table in the Power report view. Requirement: When a user logs into the power bi service, he wants to see only the data related to the user. I looking for any suggestions to implement this scenario without using RLS.

I have a Fabric lakehouse with an SQL endoint serving data to Power BI in direct import mode. Has been working firne for about a week but overnight Power BI was no longer able to connect. Hi Team, We have an issue in Modelling of our tables, even though we made them as active relationship inside our manage relationships. our Master table and the slicer are not interacting as expected. As we know Slicer should filter out the table data when we select some specific value, but its not doing that, can you help us on this and get back to us as soon as possible. Just for Information: We used group by feature in our power query transformations with similar tables where we want combined data. 1. Does this stop the slicer to filter? 2. Can you solve this problem of slicer-to-table data filtration?

I am connected to a Fabric Lakehouse. I can add visuals and query the Lakehouse model successfully from PBI Desktop. However, when I attempt to "Make Changes to this model" i.e., a DirectQuery connection, I receive the below ambiguous error "Something went wrong" What am I doing wrong? Is this supported?

Não tenho mais o que fazer ..... na instalação diz que posso instalar com todos os requisitos aceitos e não consigo fazer nada com essa mensagem: Error Message: Não foi possível conectar à fonte de dados ou ao modelo interno do DirectQuery. Verifique se os nomes do servidor e do banco de dados estão corretos e se você tem permissão para acessá-los. Agradeço se alguém poder me ajudar.... Team, I am running PowerBI Desktop on a Mac via Parallels VM on Windows 11.
