Usage Metric seems to include API call for export into PDF

Hello,

 

When verifying the usage of a report, we found out that several users had open a report 300 times but consult only 14 pages.

 

Investigating with them, let us think that when making an export into PDF, all the acces are count into the user name.

 

Can you confirm the behaviour and the rules apply. Our business teams needs to validate investments based ont this figure and it is completely not understandable.

It means that when the user just accesses the report, it will be recorded in report open; viewing the page, it will only be recorded in page view.
In your case, you use the API to export the report, which actually accesses the report, it will also be recorded in report open.
