Unable to set Date Format as dd/mm/yy in Power BI Slicer when Slicer style settings is "Between"

In my Power BI report, I am using 'Date' column from Calendar table in Slicer. I want to set Date Format as 'dd/mm/yy' when using Slicer style "Between".

I have already set column format as 'dd/mm/yy' but this format is not appearing when i am using Slicer settings style "Between". By Default, the format is set to 'mm/dd/yy' and its not picking the format of the column.

In all other styles such as Vertical List, Dropdown or Tile, i am getting the format which i have set on the column.

Please anyone help

Hi  @Baqa ,

It's by desgin and not an issue.

When you use a slicer to display or set a range of dates, the dates display in the Short Date format. The user's browser or operating system locale determines the date format. As such, it will be the display format no matter what the data type settings are for the underlying data or model.
