Unable to connect to MySQL DB

Every time I try to connect to a MySQL database, I'm met with a pop up that directs me to download and install MySQL 8.0.29. I have already downloaded and installed this version, but I'm still met with the same pop up. I have also restarted my computer.

You can try to go back to the previous version , MySQL server v8.0.16 and connector v8.0.16 . I found a similar problem, which was solved by restoring the old version, you can refer to it.

I had the same problem, connector v8.0.28 worked fine for me.
