Unable to download pbix file for a published dataset, always having to re-publish old pbix @PowerBI

Hi @ssinghd ,

Could not reproduce it in my side based on my test.

Please refer this document and consider this consideration first:

  • If you create a Power BI report based on a dataset in one workspace and publish to a different workspace, you and your users won't be able to download it. The download feature is currently not supported in this scenario.

In addition, if it still happens, you can provide some error messages or more details about this issue.

Hi all,

 

An old workmate has uploaded the splitted dataset and reports to differente workspaces. Now, I need to edit the report, but I cannot download the pbix file. However, I can download the dataset file (like pbix).

I don't find the original report... I have looked for duplicating the report, for example, copying and pasting the visuals from PBI Service between reports, but I don't find the way to do it. I can duplicate the report, but the new report has the same problem. I'm desperate...
