Text boxes are mangling bullet points and indentation

PowerBI is displaying text boxes correctly in Desktop app:

But when viewed in the browser, the list and indentation no longer make sense:

I would expect the browser to present the exact same content as Desktop. I have tried Firefox, Chrome and Edge, all on private mode and all extensions disabled, but the issue persists.

Status: Needs Info

Hi @andren

What month is the version of PBI Desktop that you used for testing?

Bumping this thread again.  We use bulleted lists for our Instructions/Notes pages (1st page of reports) and it looks sloppy right now.

Issue persists, even in the Desktop App the Bulleted Lists can only offer the first level but do not offer further indentation.

I'm experiencing this issue as well.

Using Power BI Desktop June 2024

2.130.930.0

Within Power BI desktop I can only increase indentation for numbered lists not bulleted.

When I view a numbered list that has had increased indentation in the service it rends the indented section as 1, 2, 3 etc fully left justified whereas in Power BI desktop they would be rendered as a, b, c etc.

Ideally I would like to increase indentation for bulleted lists.

Edit: if I apply indentation to a bulleted list in Power BI Desktop I don't observe any changes but once published into the servce it renders the bullets along the left side with the level 1 bullets but the text is indented.

This is still happening. Any updates on when this will be resolved?

Bump Bump! I am having this issue as well. Bullets aren't even the same style, "ABC" but turns into "123" when published.
