Subscription email shows different data than source dashboard/report

I have a subscription email setup to send when the dashboard data gets refreshed. When the email sends, it contains different data than when I look at the dashboard that it was sent from. Both show the same refresh date/time etc. This makes the emails useless as we still need to check the actual dashboard

Hi @Anonymous

1. When did this problem occur?

2. Do you have the same problem with subscribing to other dashboards?

3. You mentioned that for the same time, the data you see inside the dashboard and the data you see inside the subscription to the email do not match, did you get this data by creating a formula, or did you get it directly from the data source?

Hello

1. This occured two days in a row on 12/14 & 12/15

2. This is the only one we have noticed so far

3. It's a summarized column direct from the source

Thank you,

Dan

I am having a similar issue.  The email graph does not conatin all of the dates that the dashboard graph contains (every day, the previous day's data should appear).  Some days the email is accurate, but more frequently data is missing.  Did you ever find a solution?  Thanks!

Have you found the solution to this issue?

I have not -- I have tried changing the subscription to be "on refresh" and that didn't work either.

When we subscribe to the report there is an option to select the "Include My Changes" Tickbox.

I selected that box before and date was old as when i started the reporting

1. Now I unselected it

2. saved the subscription.

3. Then again slected it.

4. Saved again.

Date was changed to current date and report started showing same data as dashboard.

DO this and let me know if it helps or I might have not big problem as you.

@Anonymous  -- this is a subscription to the dashboard, so this option isn't there (as the tiles aleady save "my changes").

You have selected " Subscription to report " right?

Option available on the left side of "Edit" in power bi service.
