Snowflake Direct Mode not working

Using Snowflake as data source it is possible to choose Direct Mode.

However by just creating the connection it says at the source that this step is not supporting directquery mode.

That does not make sense to me.

Hi @cat_torsten ,

It is a warning message rather than an error message to remind you that this is not an import type. And you can't extend the column.
You can use it normally, but you need to avoid using steps that are not supported by Directquery.

For details, see:About using DirectQuery in Power BI

Hi @Anonymous , but it is the SOURCE where this message appears. Nobody can avoid using that step! When adding further steps to work with the source seems to work but it then does not allow to see the native sql (greyed-out). Which, from my understanding, means that it is not really using Directquery mode.
